This is a timetabled stop for residents of the nearby caravan parks. The platform is also accessible to the public via the riverside path between Frosterley and Wolsingham and is close to the Weardale Way long distance footpath, thus giving members of the public the opportunity to combine a trip on the railway with a ramble around the stunning Weardale countryside. The road approach is private and there is no parking nearby.
